A leírás szerint nem frekiváltóról van szó.
Egyfázisú, aszinkron motorok (a felsorolt típsokhoz ajánlja) 
fordulatszámát szabályozza a feszültség változtatásával. Figyeli 
a motor önindukcióját (? retroaction - visszapofázás :-), ami 
alapján tartja a fordulatszámot, a terhelésváltozástól 
függetlenül.
